I made several attempts (as in half a dozen) to watch it out of curiosity and I haven't managed to get through the first episode. I kid you not, I would physically recoil and close the browser, stand up from my desk to pace around my room for a bit. A large amount of people usually say KOTH is kinda like a slice of life anime online thanks to its pacing, setting, and comedic delivery. I think it counts as a slice of life cartoon they just aren't very common to be made domestically so the label doesn't really have a name.
