true, i felt like i needed some protection since the area that i lived at the time was inhabited by dangerous people. it felt like a necessity in order to feel safe.

i guess so.. tbh idk anymore. all I've gotten in this site was a way to waste my time since i've quit my job due to school.

there's still some gang activity, but it's mostly some dudes starting shit and causing trouble on my neighborhood rather of a full blown organization. that, and i can properly defend myself(if boxing fails, i have brass knuckles.)

How do you feel when you hear about young niggas going to jail for long amounts of time/getting killed over gang shit? I'm not american or from California so I just think they're niggers being stupid but I'd like to know what outlook you have.

i don't really know what to think when some dude dies or goes to prison over gang related things. there's many reasons why people join gangs. some join because they want to feel belonged, some join for protection, some even join because of peer pressure. i sympathize with these people because i wanted protection from others bc i couldn't protect myself back then(i couldn't even get weapons to defend myself). i thought that by joining sur13, that i wouldn't have to worry about surviving on my own a d fending for myself. however, others join because it looks cool/trendy or want to fit in order to make others fear them. i have no sympathy for those who do this. it was their own choice, fully knowing the danger and risks of joining gangs only to pussy out when they get what's coming to them.
