If reaction spamming is against the rules, then the rules should say so. The rules currently don't say anything about it. I also don't see how it could possibly justify a permaban without any kind of warning being given. The poster in this case being recently unbanned for something completely unrelated is irrelevant. If @pipp is going to be banned for reaction spamming, then it certainly should not be a permaban, there should be an explicit rule against reaction spamming, and the rule should be enforced equally among all users (not just enforced on particularly annoying users who nobody likes).

It's a slippery slope to turning the site into Reddit, where nearly all posts are removed for supposedly violating some extreme vague and nebulous rule. Also, moving threads to /dump/ is not the same as removing threads entirely and it is certainly not the same as banning people.
