For some dang reason, the IP checker for individual posts won't load for me at all, but the one for his account shows that the same IP he was using for regular posting was also online for that specific post, so it's a likely yes.

It's a certain mystery to me as well, but the IPs show up as his, so it doesn't look to have been the case of a hacker.
