Yea, I've known this for some time, but figured we were fairly safe because of our mods being able to see everything, but it really is seemingly unavoidable.
Basil made a good point, the fact that we condone steam swapping blows a hole in transparency. No one expects anything weird there until some shit like this happens and the damage is done.
There's no real way around other than take away offsite gaming (obviously you personally can protect yourself by not engaging in any e dating).

Plenty of people here are totally normal, have eachothers contact info, and don't get wrapped up in it. It's just has so much terrible potential when it does happen to someone.
I'm just ranting, I don't have a good solution other than to just protect yourself and keep an eye out on any weird behavior.

We shoudnt make it against the rules to use steam just because some groomer used it. We just shoudnt allow anykind of online dating in general (anyway if you E-date kys faggot get sum hoes) like if anybody does something that looks like e-dating instant ban.
