tl;dr doll needs to put more thought into his decisions and look at this site more often than once in a blue moon
Online moderation's fundamental issue is finding sane men with time. Those individuals will be busy with real-life responsibilities before having time to do any online moderation. The people who do have time to be terminally online are often the most insane and irrational, causing more problems than they solve.
While not perfect, the Schlog's issues are minimal compared to other sites.
The problem is finding new posters while not getting culturally replaced. A strong, common interest still remains for soy lingo and in-jokes, but interest in soyjaks have waned in comparison. Many new posters use the soysphere as an extension of /pol/ rather than as a site exclusively for mocking soyboys.
Avoiding cultural replacement requires getting new posters to care about it.
  • Traditional soyjakking requires finding someone or something to mock. This means either going off-site and finding individuals exhibiting degenerate behaviors, or mocking stereotypes of such groups of people e.g. soyboy behavior. Humor is necessary to get your audience to agree with you, and soyquotes done out of anger often backfire. Interest in this is often lost due to a new, alternative portrayal of soyjaks.
  • New soyjakking depicts the bald men with glasses not as real people but rather as characters with unique personalities representing stereotypes in a fictional story. It is why self-inserting happens, why adventure threads are possible, and why the Soysylum exists. The issue is finding good writers and illustrators. Nonsense "soyjakking" only decreases interest in this.
When interest in both are lost, the soysphere trends towards being /b/ with the poster base of /pol/.
Posting 'jaks
  • If no one else is, then be the first, and act as a role model for lurkers to follow. The funnier you are, the more others will care.
  • Avoid showing anger, lest you become susceptible to trolling and cause your audience to agree with your opponent.
Creating original content
  • The most time-consuming yet effective solution. This could either be images, videos, video games, storytelling, or other projects.
  • Never wait for approval to create (>What would you guys think?). If you have an idea, create it, and care about opinions later.
  • Aim to create content more for yourself and not so much for others. If interest in your work wanes, it will only demotivate you from continuing to create.
  • You are your best judge - if you like it, then someone else will too. If you are unsatisfied with your work, then others will also be as well.

They will never be happy. Shlog has turned into a highschool party where everyone is a beta male tween and the cool kids no longer show up.

Why don't any of you faggots step up to the plate and help out... it's not hard to make a react 64x64 pixel image. I made like 15 of them for Chuds.life
When half the Soyboy websites weren't letting me post, I made ChudStar.com and ChudStar.com/CoC/

Why the fuck don't ya'll do something creative instead of bitching at the adults that have IRL jobs and shit. Ya'll sit in your doomer attic waiting for moms pancakes and credit card so you can buy steam games, watching Netflix re-runs of beta male troons sucking on sausages, when you could be doing your own creative works.

Make some reacts, make a website, start a blog, make some pixel art, code something cool, ect.
Stop being bitches...
Embrace your inner troll, have some creative fun, and challenge yourself...
