most Canadians are afraid of losing any unique features to the overbearing American influence, so they latch onto the anti-conservative stance as a way to differentiate ourselves from the “dumb and racist” Americans.

2016 was when I got into politics. It was inescapable to the point where even hyper isolated kids like me were hearing about it daily. I remember watching the election in the evening and seeing the CNN newscasters face drop lower and lower as trump gained more electoral votes.

What’s funny is that Trump and Kamala supporters seem to live in completely different worlds, where each side thinks they’re about to win a landslide. Unironically I see videos from Kamalafags on YouTube that predict she’s going to take Florida, Texas, and even Kansas, meanwhile I’ve seen predictions from trump supporters saying that’s he’s going to take California. I feel like whoever wins there is gonna be a lot of political violence in the next few months.
