What is the point of it then if it can be so easily bypassed? The intent can't be actually preventing people who are under the age of 18 from using the site with such a flimsy measure.

To make new accounts agree that they are 18+ so when I see a pedophile make a fucked up joke they can't retreat behind mommy's skirt and say "well, I am actually 16 so I can't be a pedo"

right now, to access porn sites you have to show them a picture of your face and your ID. I'm scared this will become the normal for most sites. I know VRChat is doing that exact thing as well to verify users age
