I wanted to try fallout so I wanted to play the first game Fallout 3 and no matter what I do and what mods I download to patch the game it just crashes upon creating a new save file, I paid $2.49 for this shit and it doesn't work at all.

People say new vegas is really good though so I'm going to try it because 3 doesn't work on my machine.

New Vegas is good, a troony fan-base doesn't ruin it for me personally. The game plays well and I don't remember any major bugs with it. Fallout 1 is still really good albeit.

Marge, is pretty good.

The gunplay feels ass, AI is shit and the other aspects aren't good enough to make it worthwhile. The quests are designed around quest markers and dialogue choices are basically speech/science = win. I won't even recommend it for casuals even as a baby's first rpg game since it's just too janky.
