i host servers and like programming technical tasks, like recreating game engines. i once imported valve maps from css into the godot engine and attempted to make my own counter strike clone, but uh, it didn't work out quite well, i must say. i'm also a game developer but not very good at it, i have 0 released games geg

i mean currently he’s in his gap year in egypt but then he’s going to do software engineering with a law firm (im not sure why they need him)
but he’s made like simple random games and he knows a few languages actually i’ve NEVER asked him what he knows. but he has made self learning ais for websites before and he helped me when i was learning html
he hosted his own mc server for his friends but like it wasn’t through any company he just did it with a ton of files and shit it was crazy

hand coding html got so painful for me, i attempted to create a html renderer in godot
i did not complete it geg, but i too have learnt html and css to make my own websites which i guess i'll have to do in the future

i've mostly made art focused websites which rely heavily on images that give off an old 90s windows aesthetic but sooner or later i'm gonna have to make a company / game studio landing page / general website with a blog on projects im working on, etc. i already have an idea for a cool dev name and even a logo for it, but i need to produce something before i can actually establish because i don't want to fall into the trap of having a website that serves no purpose, like i always seem to do.

Huh, I also do MMA. I did BJJ for like a a year but I've always been going back to boxing as that's what I'm most comfortable with.

so it’s like your website for everything you basically?

i suppose so, though it will have a theme and be interactive. i've always been interested in websites that are interactive worlds that are explorable beyond their purpose as a projects and blog page, like maybe the website itself could have a point and click adventure built into it that would showcase a world i built, with the different pages being in booths or something like that, like the blog is in a newspaper stand store or the projects are on televisions or something like that, but not go too ham on it.

it'd be more like an interesting lore dive, inspired by those sites where you click on one button and it just leads you to a bunch of weird places like yume nikki, but have it be a side mode to the main attraction of just showing off my blog and my projects.
