compared to css:
- easy to install, easy to run, can probably run on ya mums laptop
- is like 2 to 4 gigabytes o algo, for the exact same fucking game mind you
- graphics are alright, nobody needs source 2 malarkey, all they did was make the game look brighter and take away like 99% of your fps
- who gives a shit about fancy schmancy volumetric smoke anyways
- easily modifiable and customizable, loads of community plugins that are easy to install
- free skins and models thanks to modding
- no shitty matchmaking, very casual experience, it's counter strike the way counter strike should be

csgo on the other hand is a shitty matchmaking rank simulator where they've gone and fucked it over completely by removing ranks and adding elo so you no longer have global elite you have somes hitty number and ranks are now only for certain maps which is such dog shit i dont even know why they've gone and done that. i dont want to be gold nova on only dust 2 o algo i should be gold nova all around, and everytime i played csgo i've only been on silver anyways so my chances of ever even getting to gold nova are squashed because cs2 has just removed that entirely.

so if you're autistic and want to change how your game looks, you can do that, as for me though, i'd rather just stick with 2 hud mods i have and not change anything else.

really nothing too crazy, just a more compact and neat buy menu and a hud that puts stuff in the places i expect them to be
im personally not a fan of cs2's buy menu but for css it works wonders as you dont have to go through shitty menus to get to the guns you need.

Removing some maps from the map pool​

i've decided to remove 3 maps from the map pool because i personally thought they were bad, these maps were
- cs_arabstreets (poor quality, unfun gameplay)
- cs_mbp_pro (too many long corridors, disliked by a few players)
- de_russka (unfun and bland in my opinion)
note that maps being removed from the map pool doesn't remove them from the server entirely, it just means they wont appear and you can't vote for them
if you want to play them you can ask me while i'm online and i can just change the map to those maps and if we like them we can add them back into the map pool
im looking for maps that strike a balance between good looking and great gameplay, like meridian for example, but not maps that are basically just clones of dust2 or something like that.

My Top 5 Favourite Maps​

heres my top 5 best maps btw:

1. cs_crackhouse
2. cs_workout
3. cs_meridian
4. de_forest
5. cs_office

we didn't get to play forest that much but in the short time we did i quite liked it. workout is an amazing looking map with a good gameplay loop and crackhouse, meridian and office just play really nicely in my opinion. de_school is a map which many people dislike however the more i play it, i personally can't feel the same way as they do as even though the map is full of long corridors, it can still be really fun.

We have enough maps for now, I suppose.​

i wanna add some new maps that will be fun, i'm thinking we could try de_dolls. i have mixed feelings about it though, its a map thats typically played in TTT and is extremely open, like its literally just one big room with not that much cover which could possibly be a bad gameplay experience, so i wont host it unless people look at de_dolls for themselves and decide whether to do so or not.

personally however in the top 5 i just listed thats pretty much all we need plus the stock maps in my opinion. like compound, dust2, office and even nuke are great. adding go maps could be tricky because people might not have a lot of bandwith to download them because some of them are like 200 mb ish. we don't really need any new maps, we're all set, however, earlier today someone recommended that i add gg_auschwitz which is a gun game map, so it did get me thinking and I think maybe I could add a few gungame maps incase people wanna spice up gameplay with a round of gungame or something like that, the issue with that however is that it requires a plugin and idk if i could make it so the plugin is only enabled on gungame maps o algo but if i can get it working, i can get it working.

we could just play auschwitz as a normal map which would essentially just be find and kill the terrorists / cts before the timer runs out which idk might suc
