Inspired by a convo from @princessparkles profile page, but moved to thread to allow for essays and the like.
PrincessSparkles asks the question of whether it would be cool or not to just make a clone version of yourself and marry it, would it be good or bad?
Discuss.

My answer to this is no, first of all, it's incest, second of all, it would be a nightmare, if it was just you but genderbent, you will quickly come to hate it.
@princessparkles please explain yourself here so we can engage in thoughtful discussion here.

Why does she speak of such salacious things? Her mind is not in the right place! Beatings!

No, my preference in women would not match a woman who my own phenotypical qualities have been transferred onto through whatever wicked satanic Kabbalah magic you would use to clone me in the first place.

baqqrih knows about it cus he was there but its a complex issue that could be discussed further
imo it would be a nightmare to marry a clone version of yourself, theres the dillemna of transferred conciousness and what might happen if you accidentally become the woman you wanted to marry through a conciousness switch

if you get cloned, do you become the clone, etc. how does that work.

if nobody comes up with a witty and interesting answer then im giving myself the solution because im a SLF

I'm the type to look in the mirror and wish I could exchange thoughts with the aryan beast I see, but I'm sure there's some theological weirdness going on in here if you marry yourself, like with the whole concept of marriage and union between a man and a woman. Eve came from the rib of Adam, sure, but this alternative would be saying God just copypasted Adam and cut xis pee pee off, which would be a catastrophic narrative for christiancacas in our day and age.

I think her original interpretation was that she wanted a man who mirrored her in the way that he matched her ideals, disposition, and worldview while also reflecting her physical qualities through a man's nature, so a very religiously-focused ethnic Pakistani who is also very masculine, rather than very feminine, for example. It's hard to put into words, especially since I'm only guessing that's what she means.

people tend to like other people depending on how much common ground they share
that, and appearance
I feel like most people would say yes, or at least they would if they were to somehow meet their clone without knowing it was their clone
