Hello guestARYANs, do you consider yourself to be cheapskate or a careless spender? I considered myself to be cheap.
Here are some of the penny pincher stuff I do;
1. Everytime I go to Burger King or McDonald's, I'll bring empty 20oz bottles with me and order a combo meal which includes a drink. So, I get a free refill, pour the soda into the bottle, and repeat. I usually do four bottles, and I save around $8.50 by just refilling bottles instead of buying new drinks.
2. I only pay less than $3.00/mo for my telephone via cheap services like VoIP.ms and Google Voice. I usually have to rely on public Wi-Fi when making phone calls on the go.
3. During the summer when driving, I only turn on the A/C when I'm going over 40 MPH to improve fuel economy. I don't care how hot it gets for me or my passengers, no Air Conditioning when I'm below 40MPH.
4. Same reason as above, when going on the freeway I stay at 55 MPH for fuel economy. That may be considered painfully slow for most drivers, but I don't care. I'm very patient.
5. If I see a penny on the ground, I'm taking it. Usually on my daily trips, I get around 5¢ which adds up.
6. I'm a huge coupon clipper. I have a bunch in my wallet.
7. I do the surveys on the back of receipts for the free stuff that they give you, such as coupons or egift cards.
8. I don't pay for cable or streaming, I watch TV over the air.
No, I'm not Jewish. I'm just a very cheap person. So guestARYANs (and those waiting to have their alt accounts accepted), do you consider yourself to be cheap? Why or why not?
