There are happy intermediates. There are ways to enjoy you position as Admin while also maintaining site health.

I mean you shouldn't shove your name all over everything as that gets a little obnoxious, but actually talk with people once in awhile. Froot when he first got in was doing good by actually participating in stuff and talking with the users, and now we got 09h5's only weekly interaction being him pinning a reply begging board like (if this gets 4000 replies froot has to rangeban France!!!). There should be a decent level of interaction and flow with your userbase.
