It started with Root because he really didn't like soyjaks or the people who posted them, and then everyone turned on froot and the admins when the frootcord leaks happened finalizing the downfall.

I don't know if I 100% agree with that. Being one of the 'teens who constantly got into SNCA sperg spats with Root, I know how annoying and antagonistic he was to the site. However, I want to say the site did well in spite of the pre-Root frootcord. Around that same time, other factors came in besides root. 'Leno was kicked out, and the site became laggy. 'leno's replacement, NeDev, also added retarded shit like the McCaptcha and disabled adblocks. (I feel bad saying this since Ballos seemed cool on here) Root and the rest of the frootcord started trolling on Alt janny accounts. The main reason this decline started, in my opinion, is because the hype built up in the Soot, Kuz, and Doll era was dying down. Froot felt it and became tired of the site, hense why he passed the torch to his paypig butt buddy Root.

No, Nudev was the babybot guy. Root was, Nuadmin/Molchat and pretty much every namefagging moderator who posted up until that point. I was in the Root hated jakking and 'arty cvlture camp, but at the end of the day all we can say for sure is that he liked power tripping. I guess it doesn't really matter either way at this point.

There are happy intermediates. There are ways to enjoy you position as Admin while also maintaining site health.
