The Shemmy, in all seriousness, wasn't really that bad. In fact, it was almost exactly like the Sharty. The same goes for the Jarty. Endless brown troonjak memes aside, there was very little difference between the Sharty, the Jarty, and the Shemmy other than PPH.

Most of the slopjak shit and accusations are overblown, and it also became popular to accuse people of being cord and pedos. Splinters definitely had moderation issues, allowing bad actors to post their fetish shit and ruin the website's (and splinters as a whole) reputation.

The problem with a bunch of those splinters is that nobody's going to use your almost thematically identical imageboard site, because they would just go use the sharty anyways, unless they're of course banned from it. You then have a guy who's probably brand new to running an imageboard having to deal with a userbase full of sharty rejects. It doesn't end well when you try and re-invent the wheel for a bunch of Neanderthals.

This is the fate of all splinters, if you are banned from here (permanently, meaning you are from the bottom of the barrel) then you are going to inherit to worst users of the Sharty or Schlog, with many of such people going to Discord after becoming banned

Well one was going to the sharty from the 4arty, because they wanted to post soyjaks for fun, since (I wasn't there at the time so I'm just guessing here,) I assume soyjaks weren't all too popular with the jannies there. The other ones are the permabanned people from the sharty, almost always for rule 2 or 3, quite literally the worst of the worst.
