If it's actual good shoes that'll last you a really long time, then yes, find a job. If it's niggercattle-tier shoes with a fancy-brand added onto it, still get a job but get actually good shoes. Any money not put into your expenses I would recommend using to make it easy for you to not require said money btw. Food stockpiling, technology that lasts you decades, etc. You can also put the money into more money. So stocks, (maybe) cryptocurrency, etc.
