what if I added like a progression system where theres two servers, one of them is a hardmode large world, the other pre-hardmode, once you beat wof the game teleports you to the hardmode world or something like that. every player gets a boss completion status thing which tracks their completion. could work but honestly trying to limit it, even by saying "only 1 boss a day" is just shite in my opinion because people want to play the game, so let them play it. don't break their balls or segregate them, etc. there's about 5 to 10 people playing every single day, almost no moments of inactivity so why even screw over the playersI've yet to join but it does appear from this thread that there's an issue of people speedrunning the game resulting in most players missing out on a lot. My solution would be (after finishing this playthrough of course) to have a server where you unlock specific bosses and events after a set amount of days to fix the pacing issue and give unfortunate progresslets time to catch up, maybe even give people more time for projects. It would be a little rulecucked, but it could maybe coexist with the main server.
i think people might just have to catch up but the players are literally just about to beat golem so like, moon lord death probably iminent
