Because lots of people already hate X, and think he's a pedophile. This gives people who already held the opinion justification. If you've ever seen people who talk about being happy that a youtuber or streamer or whatever got outed as a terrible person, it's a bit like that. It vindicates people who argued with him (which X did *all* the time) and furthermore gave people who disagreed with his stance on the vote on rule 2 about ironic pedophilia jokes ammo against it. I don't think these people are malicious but it's pretty obvious that lots of people don't just find it easy to accept he's a pedophile but *want* him to be a pedophile.

You are still able to read a Steam chat when you have been blocked, however when you block someone, it instead closes the chat for you, so I am more inclined to believe him in this case, and I wonder why either side cannot unblock each other and send screenshots?
