NHL '07 soundtrack. I forgot about this game until until this song popped up in my head. I used to play the living hell out of that game, especially with my dad. Good times this were.

This one's a song from a video game about organized crime in Japan, but, with that said, this is also one of my favorite renditions of Amazing Grace (as strange as its origin is). Simply-put, I really like the singer's voice and tone (as much as said tone may be affected by her "Engrish" accent). More complexly-put, it's a simple-enough version of the tune to where the listener's ears don't get bogged down with constant vocal flourishes, as is common in many Western covers of it (namely the American ones), but in this simplicity, and with the singer's clear vocal talent, this version maintains a pure, beautiful sound that manages to carry the emotion of the song all throughout every verse in a way that perfectly expresses "amazing grace"; the wonders and miracles of the divine as they graciously, lovingly meet the eyes of man.
