After years of the Sharty's existance I believe it's finally over. All the oldfags left and now there is no direction of the website. The owner is a druggie, the jannies are all power hungry, and most users are migrants from the discord and other normiefag social media websites. More and more parts of the culture has been taken over and replaced by the newest and most popular memes that have no soul and are just corporate shills. The raids have no real sovl, the events have no sovl, the site itself with all of it's ads have no sovl. I find myself seeing more and more 'teens use ebonics and normie terms on this site and it makes me upset. We should have gatekept this site better. (Yes I did already post this on the sharty before but it was moved to /q/ and god knows that only 10 people visit that board )

Well when you can't gatekeep anymore why don't we just force people out or something? try and like filter them to hell and back

Regardless of what happens the site is fucked and has been fucked for a while, I think about how we got to this point and what was the "turning point" when it came to the sharty's downfall.

Turning point depending on one's perspective could've either been Post Kuz era or Post Doll era, either way there was a noticable decline a little after Froot bought the sharty, although early Froot era really wasn't that bad in my opinion.

Well a lot of people may not like this but if they had super strict Jannies for a small bit that heavily made sure that nobody is doing anything outside their respective board it actually might get better. No countrywars outside of /pol/ no self inserts at all (unless you actually earned the right to self inserts ) and the lot. Again though, not a lot of people like the idea of strict Jannies

I think there was a short uptick when they tried doing this a couple of months ago, like having a vote on if NAS should be allowed on /soy/, I can't remember the results of the poll but it got banned regardless at that time.

Although sometimes you have to ignore what people think and just do it, since there was β€œpeople” who voted β€œyes” to Doll’s janny lenience poll and they’re not allowed rights anymore.

Strict moderation is the only hope this site has.
Unfortunately, we all know that users will start complaining en-masse about muh rulecucking waaaaaah my shitty unfunny post got removed waaaaaaah and the froot admins/jannies all have a "PPH over post quality" mindset and let pretty much anything through, because "oh, just let people enjoy things :)", "oh, I don't like banning users :)", "oh, I dont like this type of stuff but I'll let people post it because free speech :)".
And on top of that, there's almost nobody in charge who is competent enough to know what is good for the site and will just ban things that go against chudcel ideals while still allowing garbage content to stay up, in a manner similar to 4cuck's /pol/.

The main reason why I brought it up is because that kind of slang is indicative of a bigger problem, that problem being that most nufags are xitter and 'cord normies. Also I am a gnome not a wizard, GET. IT. FVCKING. RIGHT.

I personally believe that early Froot era was heavily demonized just because it was a nu admin, Froot isn't a good admin at all but his issues came only started to really effect the site later on.
