It's quite scary to think of what Syria's Christians may soon face if the Islamists fully take over. The Syrian Christian situation, of course, is unfortunate no matter who takes power there (out of the actively-competing forces, anyway), but there was at least some level of protection provided by the government forces when it came to fighting the past decade's bloodthirsty Islamist movements. Idlib's churches were previously pillaged and forced to shut down under HTS' control, and now, I'm thinking that their intolerance of Christians might very-well extend to cover all major cities of the country once the Assad government gets toppled.

If they go anywhere, its probably to Israel.

They could try to flee to Lebanon, too, where I believe over a million Syrians have previously fled towards during the past years of the war. Albeit, it's rather unfavorable that even Lebanon has been wracked with war just recently, too.
