According to John Loftus and Mark Aarons in their book, The Secret War Against the Jews, Liberty was attacked because the Israelis knew that the ship's mission was to monitor radio signals from Israeli troops and pass troop movement information to the Egyptians.

I've never seen any other board or place on the internet with such a hateboner for Jews, it would be hilarious if it weren't genuine.

Also for some reason this a controversial opinion, but just venting this out, I don't understand why people in those circles think of them as a collective entity. When like everybody else in the world are just a group of people linked together by culture, heritage, ethnic ties or Religion. I mean look at the polling results for who American Jews versus Israeli Jews would vote for in the 2024 election, Israel was around 66% in favor of Trump while American Jews overwhelmingly voted Democrat in the election. Also, a Orthodox Jew would have nothing in common with somebody like Bernie Sanders or a Secular.
