You're basing this off of the assumption that the Orthodox church is paganistic in nature, which I've disproven. And you faggot, Exodus 28:36, the Old-Covenant Priest's choice of garment is in fact based off of the scripture. And yes, the Apostles did wear robes. And no, they didn't wear the clothing you're referring to because they weren't priests yet. When St. Peter became part of the clergy, he wore such garments.
