well they came out several years ago but a lot of people still dont use them. whenever i play java edition i have to use programmer art ultimate or the game just feels off. i think the new ones aren't sharp enough and look like compressed PS1 assets tbh

Beta 1.7.3 is infested by 'dit commiepaedotroons thoughbeit. Also it sucks play Alpha 1.2.6 (no beds so you can't pussy out of fighting mobs at night, spiders are actually threatening, lack of useless/excessive blocks, true sandbox feeling)

I don't like how everything looks smoother, it's awful. It's like the general trend with corporate logos where everything has to become as rounded and inoffensive as possible.
