Largely no, I see them as invasive to the natural ecosystem of the site (no the site does not need x vs y for the nth time or 113 boards) nor do I like shitty gimmicks like vc. I just like this event because I get giddy for pixel placing games and I jump at any opportunity to contribute.

I assume the pixel planet event appeals to you because it doesn't mess with the ecosystem of /soy/, anyways i'd just like to say that i understand why you dislike these silly events, but for me it's because i like it when the community makes their own fun rather than the higher ups, plus not all of the events were bad (Beach vs Waterpark was gemmy, all the other X vs Y events were forced)
