They have lived in my current house for nearly five years now. It's a cozy two-bedroom bungalow in the suburbs, with a white picket fence and a quaint garden. It's always been a peaceful place to come home to after a long day. That is, until strange things started happening.

It began about a month ago. I would be sitting in the living room, watching TV or reading a book, when I would hear the distinctive click of a door latch followed by the creak of hinges. At first, I thought it was just the house settling, but as it kept happening, I realized something more unusual was going on.

Doors were opening and closing by themselves.

At first, it was just the front door. I would hear it swing open, stay that way for a few seconds, and then slowly close again. I checked the latch and hinges, but they seemed to be in good working order. I chalked it up to a draft and moved on.

But then it started happening with the other doors in the house. The kitchen door would swing open while I was cooking dinner. The bathroom door would slam shut while I was in the shower. Even the bedroom doors would creep open in the middle of the night, letting in a chilly draft.

I was getting spooked. I started double and triple checking that all the doors were securely locked before bed, but still, I would wake up to find them ajar. I began to feel like I was losing my mind.

That's when I found the USB drive.

It was sitting on my nightstand one morning, glinting in the sunlight. I have no idea where it came from. I hadn't bought a new one recently, and none of my family members or friends had been over to visit. It was just...there.

Out of curiosity, I plugged it into my laptop. The drive was empty except for a single text file. I opened it and started to read.

The text described my house in detail. It mentioned the creaky floorboards, the drafty windows, and the way the doors sometimes stuck. But then it said something that made my blood run cold.

"I'm watching you," it read. "I've been in your house for a long time now. I've seen everything. And soon, I'll make my presence known."

I ripped the USB drive out of my laptop and flung it across the room. My heart was pounding. Was someone breaking into my house while I slept? Were they watching me through hidden cameras?

I knew I had to take action. I called a locksmith and had all the locks in the house changed. I bought motion-sensitive lights and installed security cameras. I even stayed up late at night, waiting to catch a glimpse of my mysterious housemate.

But nothing happened. The doors stopped opening and closing on their own. The strange feelings of being watched faded away. It was as if the whole thing had never happened.

I'm still shaken by the experience, though. I keep wondering who could have been in my house, and what they wanted. Was it just a prank gone wrong? Or was something more sinister at play?

I'll probably never know for sure. But one thing is certain - I'll never look at my house the same way again. The next time I hear a door creak open, I'll be ready to face whatever is on the other side.

Realistically, if I did see such a demon, I'd most likely flee the area, pray, and then call a family member about the issue (I'd probably be in too much fright to think of much else to do but listen to whatever they'd have to say about what I should do).

yeah I know, but I'm assuming 17 and 19 is okay, or is a 2 year age gap immoral or something? I thought the hard limit was 3 year age gap. Even then, 16 is the age of consent in the UK and I personally still consider myself a teenager, you have to realize I only turned 19 on September 7th of this year, but if it makes you concerned or whatever then I understand. Also I'm not saying that I would date a 16 year old because that's weird but in my opinion I thought I could make that joke, because parkles is close to 18 anyways, so is it a big deal or nah?
