Self inserting is Aryan. It's not even really self inserting it's just using reaction images which soicucks can't comprehend so they call it self inserting. If you post a picture of pepe smoking a pipe you're not self inserting as pepe, you're just using him as a reaction image. But when you post a soyjak without the hecking arrow it's le self inserting

To elaborate.
Classical painting traces are coal.
The guy that started doing them was some french attention whore who posted on /int/ and whined about his snca life and acted as if he was doing anything more than tracing a painting and pasting meme faces on top of it. Also he used Woahjak NAS brimstone on those paintings, too.

The second reason is that they play into chud self inserting. I think self inserting as chud was funny when people subverted the meme and took it at face value, acknowledging that chuds really do say all the things that they say online while being puny little white nerds irl.
And then teenagers with zero self awareness started drawing muscles onto him and started using him to draw out their outlandish power fantasies and it started being cringeworthy. Literally no different than those leftoid xitter artists who draw their furry ocs punching nazis.
