Theres no point for engineering for looks. That will stunt progress and lead to just society focused on looks even more than now. A proper implementation would be for making people for specific roles, like Brave New World. People that dont contribute when they can shouldnt be allowed to exist. If everyone is made for a specific purpose everyone will have no choice but to work.
