Schizo youtube addiction

youtube is dead asf... bunch of retards chasing adsense pennies.

back in the day I tried to make a business out of teaching them how to do affiliate marketing for literally the same products being advertised thru adsense on their channels and they were mostly too stupid to figure out they could make 30% commissions off the same clicks...

50-100$ usd per click VS .15 cents

business didn't go very far... bewstar.com
even those dumbass ear licking onlyfans chicks could be selling headphones an shit but instead they lick for pennies.

that aside... youtubes content and search AI + censorship and banning the interesting people has destroyed it... i used to enjoy listening to the little channels, philosophy, thoughts, passions, hobbies... now its all AKRH ATI@QUK# JLQH %J who yells the loudest, statist politics, or those dumb bitches licking plastic ears for people like @HACKERMAN88 @Aedra_222 @Hagon

i had several accounts over 50k, 80k, ect. subs, banned over and over... even my family friendly gaming channel and mexico travel channel.

now i just use it to watch a few gaming channels during dinner or download music...

Why do people shill for hobbies so much? They aren’t bad but I think there are overrated since there are better ways to spend your time.
To clarify, by "hobby" I mean a practice that is enjoyed by the practitioner and produces output-- specifically useful output. Sowing, reading, and gardening are hobbies. I literally cannot envision a better way to spend your time than doing an activity that is useful and enjoyable. Things that are useful and that you don't enjoy (such as working at your job, or exercising) come second.

That makes sense. I was thinking “hobbies” included stuff that aren’t productive and are only for fun (like a guy learning to play the piano tho he never plans to profit from the hobby it by becoming a pianist or something)

Creative passions aren't always about money. Sometimes it's just an outlet to experience joy, peace, or solitude, in a broken ass world. All under rated concepts in society because they want you paying taxes, wage cucking, voting for parasites, larping their ideologies, licking dicks for baphomet, or whatever else normies do on netflix.

Start by not watching youtube shorts
When they pop up on your home feed press the 3 buttons on them and press to not reccomend them
Then start gradually watching longer form content (idk video essays[soy] or good podcasts or something) to ween yourself off of it

Or you can rip the bandaid off and quit cold turkey

The way to quit a YouTube addiction is to get a job and work out. You need to be too busy to use YouTube. Otherwise you’ll just watch it. If you are a NEET, it’s impossible to get rid of a YouTube addiction. It’s something that will fade out of your life as you develop a more normal lifestyle. Before you can choose to hike or hang out with friends over watch der ‘tube, you need to be forced to do other things like work.

I installed an add-on, on brave that removed the feed from youtube, the only feed I have now is when I click on my subcription page.
Therefore I either have to manually search everything, or I just look at my subscriptions.
And since my subscriptions are 50% theology, 25% backpacking gear and the rest of either politics or very rarely video games and stuff I really don't spend that much time on youtube anymore.
Once you do this your feed becomes what you've subscribed to, and filtering out the useless time consuming stuff becomes rather easy

I barely watch youtube videos, let alone political ones.
