would a soy irc work?

i was thinking of starting an irc server dedicated to the soysphere before like the shinny's irc server
if i ever started one i would obviously turn on public logs that everyone can view to discourage degenerate tranny erping and turning it into a 'cord
would it work?

i think with the rise of 'cordniggers and such recently i'll hold off the idea of a soysphere irc for now, maybe i'll do it in the future o algo

oh, and irc spam is very common; that's why most IRC networks require you to register with an email so i must somehow mitigate that issue
