Rant Worst harvesting in 40 years

This year in France, we just had the worst cereal harvest in over 40 years because of the retarded environmental regulations. It already badly affected beetroots harvesting wich led to a huge decrease in production wich made sugar factories out of order and many farmers out of jobs. All of this just because they don't want us to use pesticides because it might hurt their fucking bugs. At this point the government could just say they want to destroy agriculture. While I'm at it, there are so many farmers who are tired of dealing with wolves. Like I knew someone who literally had to watch her cows every hour of the night to protect them from wolves (she quitted), they give us all this useless fences and garbage that are useless since wolves will just manage to find a way trough it.

And if they actually put restrictions not on local farmers but big multinational firms who take thousands of hectars to farm in monocultures a single grain or vegetable mecanically and then sell it back for 3 times less than the farmer can, maybe it'd go better too.

How does this affect me though
