The term "discord server" gets thrown around a lot, but this is literal discord tier moderation
I don't much care about broot (or doll for that matter) or who he disliked and I don't see this place as admin worship central where they're the arbiters and we're all their personal jesters and they just unperson whoever they don't like and silence whoever's running counter to them.
This sort of arbitrary action is what the soysphere is supposed to stand against, and when dealing with edge cases (HWABAG being a very mild edge case) the mods should be lenient, especially for a first offense, and especially before the precedent has been set. Otherwise this place is just a janny panopticon
