Schizo What the fuck happened to the internet?

It seems only a few years ago there were actual communities, where people actually collaborated, and actually made things for themselves' and others' enjoyment. Now it seems everyone is a consumer. No one makes anything. People don't come together to create or accomplish something. They just consume slop, slop, slop, all the time. Slop that is mass produced by a minuscule minority of people.

Keep in mind that finding organic content outside of the popular media monopoly is a nightmare, which perpetuates the niche community's imminent stagnation and subsequent death. If it's not on xitter, jewsbook, or r*ddit, it doesn't exist.
Also, internet is plagued to hell and back with AI pages copying AI pages and the occasional dead forum last used 5 years ago.

The sharty is all of these things. Are you not grateful? Be more thankful.

Yeah but all those things center around Ms paint drawings of low-t men. There will never be a sharty equivalent to Pokemon clover, because there simply isn't enough unique culture to make a game like that out of

Oldfag dysphoria is showing, the internet evolved past the types of communities you were involved in and you don't like that, therefore you refuse to recognize the new ones.
This just seems like being contrarian for the sake of it tbh. You don't genuinely believe discuck is superior to the forum format which used to be the norm in older days, do you?

But he's saying "le nothing's good anymore!" which is much more extreme than the statement you've just made.

People still do all these things tho. From memes to videogames to music people constantly work with each other to produce good content. In memes you can see communities like sharty. In videogames you can see game development and mods that were created entirely by volunteers and fans. You just need to look for it. I myself am a big morrowind nerd and I can name some community projects that not only are still ongoing but they're more active than ever. For example OpenMW, Tamriel Rebuilt mod, Skywind which is morrowind remastered and it's going to come out next year after 13 years of development. If you're a fan of something you can definitely find communities within it that are making good content.

the only way i see things getting better is the death of all of the big "normie" social media and whatnot, even with that being basically impossible.
and also for monetisation to not be the goal of a site, of course a site needs to be held up but ye
