Discussion What do you think of old SLF improvement methods like stoicism, buddhism, taoism and etc?

Are they keyed or locked? And why do you think so? Also by buddhism I mostly mean the methods of it that a modern man/woman/valid-nonbinary-qween of any religion can use, I don't mean converting to the religion.

Only people who can't think find them useful, most of the time they're just scam. Want to be good at life? Don't give a fuck (just don't be a nigger), most problems can be solved with simply not caring

They had their use. A lost man may hold onto the various doctrines to have at least some ground to stand on. I'd even call religion therapeutic in a way. Having someone you can confess all of your sins to and who will always forgive you is probably what kept most people going back then. I don't know enough about these topics to say much though.

stoicism is pretty much cuckholdery. at best it is mob aggression towards involuntary celibacy.

buddhism. very hardcore religion. almost nothing is possible for a buddhist monk. they can't even be allowed to play a board game. their life is literally sitting in one place. It doesn't have any biological use, like sexual intercouse or money to cash by now.

Taoism is like a Swedish TV Show that is run on a local channel. It is difficult for anyone to relate to it because of source of national culture of China.

Look into your country, I don't know any interntational religions tbh like maybe Judaism, but that is extreme nepotism. They won't let you in mere moment.
