Tribes 3: Rivals is coming out March 12th, it's a pretty neat arena shooter. However, it's been published by a pretty shitty company so it's likely the game will be dead a couple months after release if it doesn't perform well financially. Anyway, it's a pretty unique experience and having played the playtest I'd recommend it if you're a fan of high skill fps shooters.

If you're not a big FPS guy, try out Mario Party Superstars. It can be emulated on PC (Yuzu emulation) if you don't have a switch.

If you have friends and money, play Deep Rock Galactic, left for dead 2, Barotrauma, GTFO, Endless Space 2, any modern Civilization game, any paradox game.

If you have no friends but money, then VR games are a good investment. Otherwise, Red Dead Redemption 2, the Batman: Arkham trilogy, or any decent strategy game is good.

Mario Party 8 is still my favorite in the series.
Mario Galaxy 1 & 2 are eternal gems.
