Tips on how to keep a Fat PS3 cool? I replaced the thermal paste already, so does anyone have suggestions/links on a replacement fan or external cooling solution?

this isnt going to be of any help but the most you can really do without extensively modifying the console (like cutting the case and shit) is buying premium thermal paste and making sure the system is well-ventilated without a fuckton of dust clogging the vents
getting a brand-new fan is also an option considering that the original one probably isnt working at its best anymore, though idk how much it'd help

I mean, yeah that is what I'm telling you because its a superior experience to OG hardware. The PS3 was a nugget man, not many games too.

Also I only emulate it if the controller doesn't have 2 thumbsticks, i.e the dreamcast, n64...

i fucking love playing on hardware that is on the edge of catching on fire

Geg, my old desktop was like a heater in the winter. I had a worse than stock cooler on a high end I7 running battlefield games on high settings. Had to cap the clock rate to prevent thermal throttling. Good times.
