Sweetness may be the quality of deceitful snakes, but I lack venom. There is no deception involved with my candidacy, and you can trust me on that statement as you can all others that I say. For now, I will provide a Snopes-verified words-words-words fact-check to clear the slander surrounding my name.
>Baqqrih was cruel in his triumph over Misha!
Misha, a great newGOD, perhaps one of our most proper newGODs of recent memory, signed up for the elections himself, by his own will. For him to have been paired against me for his first round was already a brutal twist of fate, but it would need to be expected, no matter where his campaign would have turned out had he won the first voting cycle, that it would ultimately be a failure because of his unfamiliarity among voters. Misha's downfall was not deserved, for he is certainly a fine fellow, but it was, nonetheless, inevitable.
>Baqqrih acts with a nonbelligerent attitude!
I do often speak in a genial manner, but is this not a good thing, that I make friendships, instead of rivalries? To cut down the length of my language for a moment, and to respond to this quite simply, what is better? A sharp tongue, or a blunt one? I'm sure the learned voter can see the answer well.
>Baqqrih is involved in Parkles' blog thread!
Another aspect of my activity on the Shlog is that I find enjoyment in properly understanding and learning more about the lives of other Shloggers as they wish. One of the first folk I began interacting with in this manner happened to be, no matter if you despise or like her, certainly one of the most unique users we've ever had, Princessparkles. Unlike most other blog threads on the site, Sparkles posts a larger quantity of images, and performs a large variety of activities that she then posts about in her blog. Just as I have involved myself in blogs like those of Basil, Lism, and, until its recent "redaction", Soygoy's, I similarly interact with the largest blog on the Shlog in a proportional manner to my interactions with other threads. I, very clearly, do not see eye-to-eye with Sparkles on plenty of things, but, since I continue to find some interest from her blog, I will continue to interact with it.
So, to end, vote as your heart guides you, and do not let the detractors sway you with their mis-truths and their slander.
