I used to be friends with a lot of people on Discord, was in a lot of communities and stuff, I'm not sure if I ever talked about it but while I had no internet this was one of the stories I wanted to tell, so I'm telling it now. I was so bored I was looking through my phone a few nights ago and I found old Discord messages of me in a very specific set of servers, they were game theory themed servers if I can recall, particularly theorizing about a game(?) but I won't give too much information about that or what video subject it was about. I first joined that server when I was 12 or 13 and I was new to Discord back then so I met a very different array of people and alongside that I had a best friend who I used to say slurs a lot with and just be based around eachother. Based, ofcourse, not keyed because we didn't know what Keyed was back then, only I know, he doesn't unfortunately.
From what I can gather he's stayed on the path of conCORD while I have gone down the chuddier route, which was a long and arduous task to be honest. It started with Minecraft Anarchy Servers which I took refuge to thanks to their free speech, but unfortunately, that didn't apply on their community Discord servers and the staff of those anarchy servers quickly grew to despise me as I would bot and DDOS the server for fun to make fun of the poor management and the shitty staff team. After that though, I quickly moved away from CORD and onto 4chan and then from 4chan I moved to the sharty, ending myself up right here, where we can have a community and have free speech and say what we believe without powermods buck breaking us for a variety of different reasons. I once got kicked on a Discord server because I disagreed with someone's opinion on VRChat (I don't like VRChat) so yeah Discord, has it's problems. Many of my "friends" back then would spam kick and spam ban me from servers and then say "nonono why do you not like it its funny :(" yeah right having no communication with you after you bullying me for so long and only using me as the replacement guy for one of your friends in CS is absolutely hilarious
But I digress, I wanna get back to the first CORD servers I was in, it was terrible. Tragic, really. That server was managed by a bunch of 13 to 15 year olds, twink femboy kids who became transgender, some of which were having polyamarous online long distance relationships... DOCTOS... yeah it was very bad, not to mention some of the older users sending the younger ones furry porn, quite literally it was the embodiment of this very video right here:
Most of those users were basically transgender, gay, lesbian, you name it really, ended up becoming those sorts of tumblr / twitter types of people and I've seen some really great people who I got to know on there just devolve into such a sad state, getting themselves into more and more internet drama constantly, picking fights with people they shouldn't be and crying on Twitter about Palestine all day, but I mean hey, who am I to speak when I do the same thing just on my le secret social media, which might aswell be the exact same thing as what they did with Mastodon, GEG.
With differing opinions however comes disagreements and a lack of understanding, which was never offered to me or provided to me by any of the users. When I was 12, I didn't even know what a transgender even was and the Discord users did a very bad job at even explaining it to me, so much so that when I joked around about it, like on a surface level, they got SUPER UBER PISSED at me, banned me from everything, called me racist, called me transphobic, basically were tryna BTFO me out of every cord they were in because they didn't like me. I had that happen to me in a Garry's Mod TTT server once when a tranny who didn't like me got me banned for 3 days on the server for making a harmless 9/11 joke and told the admins I had no intention of playing EVEN DOE I HAD SEVERAL EXTREMELY POWERFUL ITEMS IN MY INVENTORY AND HAD HOURS OF FUCKING PLAYTIME GEEEEEEEEG needless to say I wasn't perma'd but the 3 day ban sucked dick.
But back to the topic of transgenders, I don't like them and not sure if I ever will, they're just so mean, violent, hostile, aggressive, they're not nice, they can't even take a joke. That's kind of why I like 4chan and the sharty more, because if there are trannies here then atleast they'd be able to actually take a joke, right? Well, I sure hope so, because when you're in an environment where you're powerless to really do anything about someone saying something that you don't agree with, then your only options are to TAKE IT LIKE A (wo)MAN or cry back to xitter and cord where you belong.
Anyways, like I said, they've always been extremely mean to me and never been able to take a joke, always been so pissy about it, like "OMG (soygoy) STOP DEADNAMING ME USE MY FUCKING PRONOUNS OMGG" as if I absolutely have to do what they say even though if I knew that you were a woman, you'd sound like a woman and you'd look like a woman, but you don't, so how can you expect me to call you or treat you like one? I mean I may not be the most understanding, but I was never hateful! I just thought it was a little weird, especially the whole "kinning" stuff, that just sounded insane to me, that you think you can be a character on the internet or something, that's just a bit... it's a bit weird innit, but I never hated those kinds of people, and yet they're so hostile towards me being myself, that they pushed me away from CORD and all of their communities and their friends communities because I'm now apparently a racist homophobic nazi (idek where that came from if anything they're the nazis now considering their stance on Israel v Palestine, I mean they Tweet about hoping the president of Israel gets lit on fire, so yiikkesss) transphobe or whatever.
Which leads me to a certain select group of people who I encountered who made it their goal to get me off of cords, they would take jokes I made out of context and use it as petty bait to start drama. It's kind of like what you guys do but a lot more harmful and a lot less friendly... unless it IS what you guys do...

But with all of the bad, there was the good. A small group of people who I came to know as the troon squad were always very nice to me and had conversations with me on various topics to a point where I had almost reached a level of understanding with them, if not for the fact that my first CORD account was banned for "being underage" when I was 15 at the time it got banned. I ended up making a new one and just stopped interacting with those communities ever again. Today, years later, many of the members who I had fallen out with are not doing so great, some are obsessively posting on Twitter about their political takes, some are still making projects surrounding the community and still want to be in it after all of this time. It's overall just been a toxic environment and the best thing to come from it is people who get away from it, I mean it's probably for the best that people don't talk about it anymore and we just let it die into irrelevancy.
Seeing what something like that can do to people is honestly morbidly fascinating but sad at the same time and ever since, I've come to know Discord as this almost tumblr-like platform with tumblr-ish people, the pronouns police and the TRANSAUTHORITARIAN QVEENS who demand you respect their online catgirl persona or else you get banned. It's pretty bad, I once met a catgirl trooner who moderated like 5 Minecraft servers at the same time, the power mods are truly insane.
But pretty much ever since then, I decided to use more edgier sites. If troons were more kind to me, I wouldn't be here right now, but I guess they're just not so accomodating of people who don't understand them and that's why people hate them, they do it to themselves honestly, they're just so annoying and entitled, selfish, they think the world revolves around them and they're always doing some dumb shit and talk like Discord users in real life. It's utterly bizarre, I can't fathom any of them getting jobs or integrating into society, but I do think that being a troon is possible, if you do it right atleast. Discord users, however, aint no way. I've always been on a 50/50 with troons but honestly they push it way over the edge to a 90/10 where the remaining 10 percent is the sense of permissable doubt and the 90% is reasonable logic, disliking, permanent damage to ones own body for a sexual fetish, even if it's not a sexual fetish you do not need to inject yourself with all these weird drugs and get surgeries and shit and people have far greater arguments against troons that troons just dismiss as "le phobia" or "Well, that's just some transphobic dogwhistle" and if you ask how they just won't elaborate probably because they're all brainwashed.
Anyways, yeah. My cord experience was filtered by trannies and hostile people GEG. I only ever used it for my best mate, who I'm no longer mates with sadly, ever since then however, I've been hoping to make mates with people elsewhere, but that doesn't seem to be working, people here keep telling me that "YOU CAN'T BE FRIENDS WITH PEOPLE HERE, THIS IS THE LAST PLACE WHERE YOU'D WANT TO BE FRIENDS WITH PEOPLE!!!" which is just so :< tbh.
