Can we bring back the Soyteen digest? I used to follow it while it was being post over a year ago, and looking back it feels like a time capsule of what the site was like back in the late kuz era. From what I remember from talking to the 'teen who allegedly was responsible for it, it was done by just him, so it couldn't be that hard if several 'teens worked together to make 1 issue a week.

Also the start of the whole Soyjak magazine takes me back, someone made a thread about the Frenschan magazine (digression, but I’m surprised they listed us as a “fren” on their closedown notice, especially when for most its lifetime the sites didn’t get along, but apparently the admins said they admired the site during talks to buy the site from Kolyma so who knows) and then the whole magazine thing was born just to spite them
Unfortunately the whole effort died out once someone got into the Discord used for coordinating the magazine, similar to how the DOOM mod project died

Soyjak magazine takes me back

Only 1 of the issues was made when the 'cord was around and after it went to shit 'zineGod went back to making it on his own. Basing this off of what he said in the /g/ thread where he did a "q&a". You can tell it was one guy for 99% of the whole thing because the typing style and formatting style are the same for most of the pages. After the last issue didn't receive a ton of attention and he didn't get help in his /g/ thread he stopped making them. I made his 'ki page and looked into it pretty heavily so I'm pretty sure I'm remember his Q&A, but I could still he wrong here and there...

Funnily enough both the digest and SOYDOOM were ruined by the same discord faggot, not going to elaborate further though as not to derail this thread.

'zineGod admitted that going to the 'cord was a bad idea and I think the doom guys did as well... Neither should have gone offsite because that's how shit hits the fan like it did... It's funny because with the shlog and ID flags, both projects could have been spared if they were done today. As for /news/, is there not a better board to post a revived soyteen digest?

How about we make a new thread in Projects called "Project Soyerature" or "Project Literasoy?" There's a billion things that can be done by making literature of happenings in the Sharty and such.
