SAT shit

For the mutts on here, what did you make on yours? Curious because I'm pretty disappointed with my 1150 that I got last year. My retarded friend got a fucking 810.
ACT is also fine.

1450. I got like 700 on writing and 750 on math. For my ACT I got a 29
It's so odd how everyone online I've talked to seems to have scored in the 1400-1500 range and yet IRL most people scored a 1030 or something (insert mutt here). Not saying you're lying but it's weird to me. I wouldn't really consider this place to be some esoteric philosophy forum.

I think it has to do with people online typically being more autistic/reclusive, which are traits of people who tend to be "smart"

1550 on SAT, would be a 1570 but I never could get a 800 on math (I’m not retarded, I’d just always get one wrong by accident and my score would drop 20 points since the curves are so brutal, just make the math section harder niggers)
I got either a 35 or 36 on the ACT, I wish I just did that instead shit was so much easier
By the way, I know they stopped issuing SAT Subject Tests recently but did any of you guys complete one?

I tried the Mandarin one because I had taken it for all four years of high school, I did shit on it though.

I never took the SAT, but my story might give you some hope if that's what you're looking for. Initially, I had intended to become an electrician, so the SAT was completely useless to me. I did end up taking the PSAT, I scored in the mid 900s (I slept in class, didn't study). Later on, my plans changed and I wanted to go to college. Many schools are now test-optional, I got accepted to one of my top picks and received a merit based scholarship because thankfully, I decided to do my schoolwork and had a high GPA. I now go to college for next to nothing, there's always an opportunity, just seek it out.

I can't believe I'm so retarded =(. I didn't study at all for the test, I wonder if that has something to do with it. I wasn't going to go to a super good college anyway so I didn't feel like I needed a good score.

A friend with a similar score received a $10,000 scholarship to a college he wanted to go to. This score is not a gemerald, but it's gemmy thoughbeit...

I'm going to a good state school and paying less than 10k a year in tuition out of pocket. I should look into scholarships since I still have a year left after this semester is over thoughie. I do wonder what I did to fuck up the reading/writing section. Am I a tard, can I not write well, do the graders not like my writing. Math is easy since they give you something and there is an answer that is for sure correct. With the reading you can interpret it many ways and with the writing I don't even know what you need to do to get a good score, I never looked into it.
You're not retarded, just drink your soylent and keep looking for scholarships. You're doing better than most others.

A source approximates 1400 to 1500 SAT to an IQ of like 123 to 129. 1350 is still 120 IQ. I can provide links if people are interested.

i don't remember my score

That’s probably because people who got lower scores are less likely to brag about them online

>larp test
g/IQ is correlated with nearly every competency out there, from accuracy/survival in gunfights to academic proficiency. All attempts to create a new and distinct measure of intelligence have failed, typically reproducing an IQ-like highly correlated metric. We are all deficient in some ways compared to other people, it is better to accept our conditions and search for novel leverage than deny hierarchy and it's essentially objective measurement.

SAT scores required for college and scholarships?

Why did you take the psat, it’s a waste of time. The psat is only ever worth paying for if you’re aiming for national merit (but even then it’s still kinda a scam). Did your high school force you to take it or something
