Should post deletion permissions be disabled or limited for users?

Pros:
-Preservation of people's posting history for non-mods
-Makes it easier to look up what somebody said
-Rage inducer
Cons:
-You can never leave
-If you say something dumb then I'm going to get a ton of emails begging for me to delete your account (coal)
-"erm..... le kiwifarms !" comparisons by retards

Where's the no option

This would teach people to be more careful about what they say online. Also it would make autodelete scripts pointless. Inb4 an autoedit script
I like deleting posts other people make on my profile.
Doll keep this the same so people can't spam your profile

Trvke actually. There isn't any problems regarding this. If it ain't broke or something
It popped into my head because I've gotten 3 or 4 requests in my email for me to delete accounts or let these people back on their accounts so they can delete the posts themselves. It's a good thing to vote on at least.

>herb asked him to unban so him so he could delete his posts via email

A lot of this place's userbase is young, there will be many people who will regret saying something, who wiill want to delete something. I think it is fair to have them delete messages and their account, does it suck that perhaps some things can go away from the history of the forum? Sure. But we aren't kiwifarms, i don't think we should worry about someone willingly being able to delete their own messages. It will also help if someone feels unsafe or just wants to dissappear from the sharty and be forgotten.

So yeah, i voted let Doll decide but i think it should be a no. Let us keep deletion perms.
