Meta and Google have already announced that they’ll be adding fake AI accounts to blend in with the rest of the populace, if they’re just now announcing it I can only assume that dead internet has been a thing for at least a little while now

I’m for AI, and the concept in and of itself has been around since deep antiquity https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timeline_of_artificial_intelligence
I do get frustrated with it at times when it does not provide what I am looking for, or when slop material infests information, especially when it’s some shorts creator who’s obviously just repeating off what an AI said (which sometimes contains false info), or even worse it’s a low effort TTS voice reading of some slop and protruding the information with useless filler words.

Pretty vague term, in general most internet services should cost around the same, but this is often exploited by companies to sell individual packages of services rather than the whole deal
