new gangster buddy film idea

So i was thinking about lural and hardy (those two funny people from 1930 film stuff) and i thought like "WOW wasn't gangstas also popular at that time?" I thought some more and i came up with the idea for two guys named Smith and Oliver who are like both really good con man who go to las angels to pull some of their biggest cons ever and get to the top of the crime world or something like that yeah
warner bros will not reply to any of my emails pls help
