Shit No One Cares About My Guitar Hero/Clone Hero progress journal

Heya.

Here I'll be posting the steps of my journey to becoming Guitar Hero champion. My ultimate goal is to FC Guitar Hero 3's chart of Metallica - One on expert difficulty.
Right now, I'm not that good. I haven't FC'd any song on expert yet. But I'm motivated to get better, and one day, be able to become the guitar hero.

I'm using the Xplorer guitar to play. It's an old one, was a bit used even before I got it. It overstrums a bit, but other than that, It's great.

Feel free to engage, maybe tell me a word of advice or two on how to get better at the game.

Right now I'm trying to FC rock band's Go with the flow. So far I'm not quite there (only 98% clear), but here's a highscore I got on it just now.

I was picking a song to play when I realised that I had guitar hero world tour's chart of Linkin Park - What I've Done in my folder.

So uh... I FC'd it first try, geg. This is my first FC on expert like ever, and it's Linkin Park of all things.

Also, no meaningful progress on the go with the flow, expcept I have a 99% clear on it now. The last 1% will be a bitch.

I can perfectly play any part of the chart in practice mode, but when I do the whole thing all at once something just doesn't click. I guess I need more practice.

I have FC'd Interpol's Obstacle 1. Why?

1. Interpol is a tanzanite band.
2. It was only a difficulty 1 chart.

Go with the flow FC will be a thing eventually, I just got tired of playing it over and over, so I'm doing other charts for the time being.

I haven't been able to play and practice for some time, since I've been having some life and work stuff for the past 2 weeks, but I'm trying to find time here and there to hone in my skills. Recently I've noticed that my strumming became lighter, that I don't put as much effort into it as I did before. Makes me feel like I'm getting better.

Today I played a guitar hero 3's chart of Miss Murder by AFI.

Literally who band. A good song. And a very fun chart. Unfortunately I didn't FC it yet, I theoretically can, but it hasn't happened for now.
