dead thread but the ps3 is the trooniest console of the 21st century, most games on it are gay JRPG tranime nippon slop and even its internal hardware is special snowflake CELL crap that uses 9 heckin SPE valid cores which nobody cared enough to program for properly until its lifecycle was nearly over
also they were selling those hunks of shit at a loss for quite a while, even the $599 USD (like $900 USD with inflation) model was still losing at least $100 because of the faggot bluray drive
not to mention the nigger-tier backwards compatibility with all of the different model variations and the HECKIN AMAZING PS1 & PS2 compatible model which often fetches 9000000 shekels on eBay
