Monarchism only works in small countries of a few thousand at most, then you need to go back to feudal lordships to keep it going. Federated republics are the natural way to run a country in the modern age.

The Holy Roman Empire is good example how monarchy should be run. Republics and democracies are a race to the bottom, every 4 years new crooks are elected that steal as much tax payer money as possible and ruin the country. After 4 years the cycle repeats. Meanwhile in a monarchy kings have a incentive not to ruin the state because the next generation will inherit it.
