I hate that term when I hear it, "cultural Christian". These people make an attempt to embrace the morals of the faith, obviously seeing its goodness, but somehow something still blocks them from understanding our Lord Jesus Christ, that something often being their pride in not wanting to be seen as wrong or mistaken in holding a past opinion. I often hear such a term from intelligent people who are still too foolish to care for their salvation over something worldly, caring instead for a thing like public perception. Warren Balogh is an example of this, as I've heard him use this very term before. Very smart, intelligent, well-learned fellow, but he's fallen to the idol of ideology because of his upbringing and now he's ended up being a blind fool to the true faith, that of Christ.Isn't richard dawkins sucking up to Christianity now that islam is taking over europe? I saw a clip of him saying how he's a "cultural Christian" and how Christianity le good actually

Very optimistic, I would say he's too prideful for that, but then again he did go to "cultural Christian" so who's to sayHe will go from atheist to "cultural" Christian to actual Christian within my lifetime. And that's alright. It takes time for some people.
Nietzsche wasn't making a smug comment but simply commenting that Europe's guiding philosophies are heading in a direction where a belief in a god becomes impossible. This was shown to be true by how religion has been on a sharp decline in all western countries.View attachment 13888
Dawkin's turn will come too. Soon.
