I always hear of people talking about the latest shounen around and saying it's the hottest shit ever. It's not rare at all to see people openly showing they like shows like Jujutsu, Demon Slayer, etc.
But I never hear of anyone talk of the latest slice of life shows irl even though they seem to be just as popular on the internet. Never heard of anyone talking about bocchi in 2022 even though it was the AOTY.
