I will fight for /anthro/
I woke up this morning and I hated it. It took a long time to actually get out of bed, just as long as it actually took to get into bed and drift off to sleep, truth be told: I hate sleeping. I hate how it goes day and then night and then day and then night again like it's one big long eternal night. But ultimately, we spend about 1/3 of our lives sleeping, or like 26 years of our life doing nothing but being basically fucking dead.
I wish that we wouldn't have to sleep and there would be no negative side effects or consequences and that our brains would be perfectly fine operating 24/7 without the need to sleep. Sleeping can feel good but its such a pain to have to get to sleep, getting into bed and waiting for hours and then dozing off, only to be in a state of half asleep half awake consciousness in the morning where you just can't get out of bed for some reason. I also hate getting tired.
I wish tiredness wasn't a thing, I'd perfectly be okay with day night cycles so long as I can operate at full capacity all of the time. If we didn't have to sleep, we'd be a lot more efficient, people could actually enjoy the night a lot more. What about you guys?
